Consider Volunteering with Reach Out

Our clinic is powered by compassionate volunteers who want to make a real difference in the lives of uninsured and underserved patients in our community. Right now, we are especially looking for Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health volunteers to join our team.

One thing many volunteers appreciate is the flexibility. We only ask for one shift every three months, and most shifts are less than three hours long.

Licensed volunteers are also covered under malpractice insurance through our FTCA HRSA grant program, helping provide peace of mind while serving.

Whether you are a physician, dentist, behavioral health professional, nurse, medical assistant, student, or support staff member, there is a place for you here.

At Reach Out, you are not just volunteering your time — you are helping provide hope, dignity, and healthcare access to people who truly need it.

Volunteers Needed

  • Physicians/Providers - Providers who want to make a difference in the life off the uninsured can do so by volunteering once per quarter or more often.

  • Front desk volunteers - Volunteers are needed to operate the front desk during clinic hours. Includes greeting patients, helping patient's fill out paper work, and inputting information into the computer database.

  • Registered nurses - Volunteer nurses with a minimum of R.N. are needed during clinic hours to assist providers with the healthcare needs of our uninsured patients.

  • Specialists - Specialist providers unable to volunteer in the Reach Out evening clinics who are interested in supporting the uninsured may do so by allowing Reach Out patients to be seen in their offices during regular hours at reduced cost or no cost to the patient.

  • Translators - Volunteers needed to translate for patients speaking foreign languages. Volunteers will assist with filling out paperwork for patients and interpreting between doctor and patient.

  • Healthcare Navigators - Will assist patients navigating the healthcare system and help align them with assistance.
